We have never made it to NYC during Christmas but it looks really nice. Love the big tree.
Weather in NYC today is about high 40s, perfect for tree lighting festivity!
I remember seeing that live as a kid. NYC is very cool during the holiday season.
Hi Justin, yes New York city is a very cool town, especially during holiday season.
Eileen, never been there for the lighting, but have seen the tree in Rockefeller Center, it is HUGE! Did you attend?
Eileen...I watched on TV last night...what a great time...maybe I will come up for Xmas next year and view it in Person :)
Eileen,
Can't believe the hassles that were created with the President dropping in for a fundraiser last night... g
Joan, I watched it on TV. Between the tree lighting and Mr. Obama in town, the entire Midtown Manhattan area was in gridlock!
Gordon... sometimes we New Yorkers suffers in traffic when Mr. Obama come into town. We try to avoid the neighborhood he plans to visit since the securities closed down those city streets and avenues and the surrounding areas.
Every year, I follow NBC about the story how the tree came about. I think it's incredible. Someday, we may just do that with the family.
